When she was young, she lived in the city (Verona) and started skiing when her family would go to the mountains (Madonna di Campiglio) every weekend. Her father tried to get her into cross-country skiing, but seeing the ski-lift in front of the course didn’t help him in his quest. Was three years old when she asked her father why she should ski up when there is an easier way to get up the slope.
