Milestones

PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games silver moguls medallist (seventh in 2014) behind Mikael Kingsbury (CAN). At Sochi 2014, he missed making the top-six to the super final by 0.01 seconds, finishing seventh.

Two-time World Championships silver medallist (2019 moguls, 2021 Almaty), both times behind Mikael Kingsbury (CAN). Made his debut in 2013 in Voss-Myrkdalen, where he finished fourth in the moguls (38th in dual moguls).

Had his first World Cup podium finish in 2015 (second in moguls in Deer Valley), and his first victory in 2016 at the same venue.

Along with countrywoman Britteny Cox, he claimed twin World Cup victories in Canada on 28 Jan 2017, marking the most successful day for the Australian mogul skiing team. (smh.com.au, 30 Jan 2017)

In the 2020/21 season, he held an 18-point lead (over Frenchman Benjamin Cavet) heading into the World Cup final event and became the first Australian male since Olympic gold medallist Dale Begg-Smith (2010) to win a World Cup Crystal Globe, ending Canadian Mikael Kingsbury’s nine-year reign as moguls champion (who missed part of the season with a back injury.)
