March 2021: Tore anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and compromised meniscus in the big air third run at the 2021 World Championships.

Growing up next to one of the world’s best freestyle resorts, Laax, he became a great skier. As the youngest kid of three children, he skied for the first time when he was just two years old. Started as a racer, but at age seven joined the first freestyle course at Laax and by eight he had already competed at events at the Salomon Jib Academy - where he had to lie about his age in order to compete. By the age of 10, he had already travelled to famous ski resorts across Europe to compete in competitions such as the Junior X-Games in Tignes. At age 13, was invited to join the Swiss Freeski Team in the United States of America to train. (andriragettli.com).
