Started the Perisher Winter Sports Club (PWSC) programme in 2003 when she was eight years old. The Development Programme was a great way for her to experience all the different disciplines including slopestyle, moguls and Alpine. After her first year of PWSC, she transitioned to the moguls competition group as this was her favourite discipline and what she excelled in. (perisher.com.au)
The breakout moment for her was at the Torino 2006 Olympic Winter Games: "I flew to Italy with my family to watch the mogul and figure skating events and I immediately fell in love with the idea of elite sport and the whole atmosphere of the Olympic Games." (perisher.com.au)
“At the moment, I’m just focused on the next month and a half, get through to the Olympic Games in Beijing, compete well and hopefully achieve some personal bests and make some good memories to finish off my career." (sport.unsw.edu.au)
Before a competition she tries to stay present and just focus on what needs to be done in order for her to compete at her best. (perisher.com.au)
