Active in acrobatic sports (gymnastics, trampoline, diving, circus arts) when she was younger, and eventually had to choose between acrobatics/trampolining and skiing. Was first on skis at age two, and started mogul skiing at age 15. "I have a trampoline in the backyard for when I feel nostalgic." (Athlete, Jun 2021)
