Loved the adrenaline rush, as well as the chance to see the mountains when she went on holiday. Took part in Alpine skiing growing up. "I raced until I was about 16 and if I'd not done freestyle I would have done racing. Even when I was obsessed with freestyle my parents made me race for the technique and I definitely think it was good for me. I'm such a competitive person, I did love it." (Info 2018)

General Interest

SKIING SISTERS
Was selected for Great Britain's freestyle skiing squad for the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang alongside her sister Molly. "It's good to have that constant support going both ways, and it's nice that we can do this together. Molly is like my best friend, although I am kind of glad that we do different events. I wouldn't want us to have to compete against each other, because I just want her to do as well as she possibly can." (Info 2018)

THE FRIDGE KIDS
Grew up skiing with fellow British freestyle skier James Woods, who also comes from Sheffield, England. Alongside Woods and her sister Molly, the trio earned the nickname 'the fridge kids' in their formative years on the artificial slope in Sheffield. She used Woods' success on the World Cup circuit as inspiration for her comeback from a serious knee injury in 2012. "Woodsy is my best friend, so to see him win World Cup events made us all so proud and definitely gave us the belief that we could also reach the podium. I've been skiing with him since I was seven."
