Winnie Atkin, mother of Zoe and sister Izzy said in an interview: "Zoe and Izzy started skiing between my husband’s knees aged two or three. They loved it straight away and it was clear they wanted to do more even at that age. We couldn't really stop them after that even if we wanted to." (newschainonline.com, 2019)
Zoe grow up skiing on Sugarloaf Mountain in Maine, USA, like Izzy and they relocated to Park City, UT so she could enroll in the Winter Sports School. "Izzy went into competing in freestyle earlier than I did and I always looked up to her and was always so impressed by everything she did. I followed her into it, wanting to be like her too.'' Working really hard and focusing on training are essential. "You’ve really got to have fun with it, though.
