General Interest

BEING A TEACHER DURING COVID

INNICHEN COURSE SCARE
After her teammate, 2014 Olympic bronze medallist Anna Holmlund was seriously injured in training on a course in Innichen, Italy (December 2016) requiring brain surgery and placed in a medically induced coma, Naeslund (who was behind her and witnessed the crash), crashed herself two days later on the same course, suffering a mild concussion and a broken nose. (aftonbladet.se, 21 Dec 2016)

FAMILY
Close to all her grandparents since her mother passed away when she was two years of age. Grandma Britta Naslund unexpectedly stepped up and gave a speech during the victory celebration of her 2017 World title. "It was fun, I was not prepared for it at all. She was in a women's club, I think, and I would get some prize from them. Then none of the other aunts dared to get up, so Grandma did it instead. It was fun that she went up on stage. It was actually awesome." (aftonbladet.se)
