2015 World Cup in Are (Ski cross - 38th)
February 2020: Anterior cruciate ligament injury caused him to miss the rest of the 2020/21season. Returned to racing in February 2021 for the World Championships on home soil in Idre Fjall, where he won a bronze medal.
Spring 2016: Concussion.
2015
Was born at the foot of a mountain, near Are. But he started off with different sports creating a physical foundation through football, gymnastics, cross country, free skiing and jibbing, along with skateboarding and biking in the summer. Did not specialize until the age of 16, when he attended a Swedish ski high school (Are Skidgymnasium). (Athlete, Jan 2021)
He and his younger brother David had never skied alpine before committing to ski cross. They were first spotted in Are going down the slopes with a pair of cross country skis. "I have not ridden as much alpine, as my background mostly comes from freeriding and the [skate] park, but the difference is probably that ski cross is more complex with turns, jumps and lots of obstacles along the track. You need to be good at everything to become a good ski cross skier and it's really fun." (skidor.com, Jan 2017; Athlete, Jan 2021)
In 2021, he returned to competition after a year out of the sport due to an an ACL injury, and in his first race back, he won the bronze medal at the 2021 World Championships in Idre Fjall on home soil.
"I go into my own little bubble a few minutes before, when I just focus. I always have to check that I hold the poles in the exact same place and then I stomp with the skis in the ground." (skidor.com, Jan 2017)
"Always develop and try to get better at things." (skidor.com, Jan 2017)
