Girlfriend Ashley Caldwell (USA) is the 2017 World aerials champion and a three-time Olympian (2010, 2014, 2018). In her Olympic Winter Games debut at Vancouver 2010, where she was the youngest competitor in the event, she reached the finals, finishing 10th.

With his first World Cup win in Belarus in 2020, he ended a four-year U.S. men’s aerials drought.
