2013: Broke tibia and fibula on his second day at Mount Hood in the summer. Wasn’t cleared to ski until December.

Comes from an avid skiing family. His father works for ski patrol, his mother is a former Alpine racing coach, and his sister competes in halfpipe and slopestyle. Began freestyle skiing and completed his first 360 at age five, signed with his first sponsor at age seven. (teamusa.org)
