2011 World Cup in Copper Mountain (Halfpipe - 22nd)
October 2020: In Saas-Fee, Switzerland, hit the frozen deck (corner of halfpipe) on a new trick he was trying and broke six ribs, had a grade three kidney laceration, a pelvic fracture, wrist trauma, a concussion, as well as bruising his heart and a lung. Was taken to the hospital via flight for life (Air Zermatt) and hospitalized in Visp for several days. Once home, he was bedridden. His first competition back was at the Winter X Games in January 2021, finishing second. He then competed at the World Championships in Aspen (fifth) and won the World Cup finals.

2013
Started skiing at 18 months old at Crested Butte Ski School (started with his grandfather). His mother was a ski instructor. Was competing by age eight, and by 10, he was competing against (and beating) teenagers. At 14, moved away from home and started living with a host family to attend the Vail Ski and Snowboard Academy. (pressreader.com, 18 Feb 2014)
