Has been immersed in the sport from birth, with a trampoline in the backyard and nearby slopes and water ramps. When his father was training at the Yves Laroche AcrobatX National Training Center water ramp, for fun they put skis on Miha's feet and took him down the ramp. "The important thing for me is that he is happy. I never pressured him to choose to jump. It was just for fun at first and eventually it became a passion." Nicolas Fontaine.(ici.radio-canada.ca, 20 Jan 2020)
"Because when I ski, I always want to do jumps and aerial skiing was the perfect discipline." (Athlete, May 2021)
