She first put skis on at age six, as she had just moved into a home a few minutes away from Le Relais ski center. Three years later, she switched to snowboarding. (freestylecanada.ski)

Her younger brother had started freestyle skiing and seeing all the cool tricks he was learning, she decided to join the freestyle ski club at age 11 and began training aerials, moguls and slopestyle. She really liked the three disciplines but had the most ease in aerials. (freestylecanada.ski)
