Born and raised in Whistler, British Columbia, she grew up skiing from a very young age and was on the slopes as early as two. By eight she joined the Blackcomb Freestyle Ski Club and by 14 she made the BC Mogul Team (two years). She then moved to the Ontario Mogul Team (two years) before earning a spot on the Canadian Team in 2017. (freestylecanada.ski)
Started off by skiing both moguls and slopestyle for a few years before deciding that the bumps were what she truly loved and wanted to pursue. (freestylecanada.ski)
Some tough decisions were made by her coaches early in the 2019/20 season, holding her out of starting World Cups in December and Deer Valley (February) in order to have her train in Canada to ensure her health for the 2021 World Championships, where she finished fourth in the dual moguls and her career-best result. Finishing fourth at the 2021 World Championships in Almaty (dual moguls): “Today was definitely a special one for me. My last duals event was at the World Championships in 2019, so I was really excited to step back into the gate for this event after two years. Returning from a long rehab and walking away with a new best result really meant a lot to me.” (freestylebc.ski)
