First learned to ski at the age of two in Ontario and was eventually placed in race programs with her brothers. She left the sport at the age of 10 to compete in artistic gymnastics and later focused on trampoline, where she trained with members of the Canadian National Team including two-time Olympic champion Rosie MacLennan. At 14, she was introduced to park skiing by her brother Austin and fell in love with the sport taking up competitive slopestyle skiing and halfpipe one year later. (freestylecanada.ski)
