Took up skiing at age four, initially taking part in races before exploring freestyle disciplines. At age 10, he joined the Canada Olympic Park club (legacy from the Calgary 1988 Olympic Winter Games), where he developed his talent and started his competitive career. Was still a junior when he was called up to Canada’s national halfpipe team in 2015, at just age 17. (mn2s.com)
