2014
Began the sport at Stoneham. "I was wondering who the kids were jumping around on the Big Air in the park at that time. They had patches on their pants, so my dad told me that they were the freestyle skiing club. Since then, I decided I wanted to join the club." (Athlete, Apr 2021)
Really liked to jump when he was a kid. "Every weekend with my family, we were going to Stoneham to our ski chalet and as soon as we arrived, I dressed up in my ski suit and I was heading to the park to hit the jumps. I developed a passion for moguls later on but those are the main reasons why I am doing mogul skiing today." (Athlete, Apr 2021)
On the last camp before the season kicks off, athletes have to attend a fitness testing day, which is where they have to push to the limit: ‘'The day I hate the most in the year." (Athlete, Apr 2021)

Canadian moguls specialists, Alexander Bilodeau (two-time Olympic and three-time World champion) and the Marquis brothers: Vincent (2009 World Championships bronze medallist, 4th at Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games) and Philippe (two-time Olympian at Sochi 2014 and PyeongChang 2018). "They are from the same club and from the beginning of his career. Always brings stuffed animals in his bag when he competes.
