2009
Started freestyle skiing at age eight but often had to be bribed by her older sisters with chocolate to do the moguls "one more time". Watching her older sister Chloe compete at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games made her realize that she wanted to become an Olympian too. She fell a lot in her first competition and was crying when she crossed the finish line, but it was because she was happy to be competing. (freestylecanada.ski, olympic.ca)
Followed her older sisters into the sport. "When you're the youngest, you just want to follow your older sisters, because you think they're so cool and so beautiful, so I did. I saw my sisters in the World Cup and I watched Chloe in Vancouver [2010]. I decided I wanted to train hard. I have always been a competitive tiger - I take after my dad." (bbc.com)
Sharing the podium with her sister Chloe at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games.
Her two older sisters freestyle skiing, Maxime and Chloe.
"I change my lucky outfit every year. I used to think my wolf T-shirt was lucky as I had good results so I kept wearing it, but the year after I had it on , I fell. So I said, 'ok the lucky clothes are good for only one year' so I change every year." (skicanada.org)
