Grew up in Ostersund, (one hour from the ski resort Are) and started skiing at age two when his parents would bring him to the local ski slope. "At the age of eight, I found some jumps and rails in Are. From the first time I knew that I loved freeskiing. My family goes to Are every weekend to ski. It has helped me a lot that my parents always have pushed me and like to ski."
In 2019, he started at a freeski school in Malung, Sweden: "In the winter, we ski four to five days every week in Klappen (30 minutes from the school). It has been very good for me because I've learned a bunch of new stuff when I get to ski almost every day." (oliwermagnusson.com)
"My goal is to become the world's greatest skier. I want to win the major freeski competitions, but also have good video parts. To reach my goal, I have to work hard and ski a lot, and that is what I love." (oliwermagnusson.com)
