December 2021: Tested positive for COVID-19.

February 2020: Tore her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) at the World Cup in Megeve. After surgery, her rehabilitation was complicated due to the arrival of COVID-19 as she had to leave the national center in Calgary to return home to British Columbia. Returned to the competition in November 2021 for the test event in China. (lapresse.ca; 7 Jan 2022)

March 2017: Cracked her pelvis after crashing during training. The injury ruled her out for the rest of the season.

February 2015: Tore her left calf muscle in two places while on a training run at Calgary Olympic Park in Alberta, Canada. Returned to the slopes two months later, having made the decision to switch from Alpine skiing to ski cross. (Info 2018)

Began skiing at age two. After competing in Alpine skiing until she was age 23, she made the switch to ski cross in 2015. (Info 2018)

Her ranking on the Alpine skiing World Cup circuit slipped out of the top-30 and she started thinking about switching sports. She then tore her calf muscle in slalom training, which she saw as a sign for her to make a change of direction in her career. (Info 2018)
