March 2021: Tore his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).
2019: In an attempt to beat the world record for a high jump from a quarterpipe, he had a massive fall, spent three days in a coma, broke his pelvis, ribs, vertebrate, head trauma, many of his organs were damaged, especially his lungs. Spent three months bedridden. His first competition back was the 2021 World Championships in Aspen, where he finished eighth. (olympics.com)

Was encouraged to take up the sport by his family. Growing up he discovered he loved jumping and moved on to practising moguls and halfpipe. "I wanted to go wherever I wanted and to use the ground to jump. I loved the freedom to play with the mountain. I had no pleasure being forced to ski on beginner or intermediate slopes, and I soon switched to freestyle skiing." (Info 2018)
Does a lot of physical training as he "feels that he's getting older". Feels it is becoming more difficult to recover and to build up muscles, so he works a lot to improve his physical condition. (olympics.com)
