Wants three medals from Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games. To be the best triple threat skier in the world, to take victories, and do well in all three disciplines. Feels like each discipline makes him a better skier overall. (fis-ski.com, 23 Oct 2020; bt.no, 8 Jan 2021)

:

In the 2019/20 season, he entered more World Cup competitions than anybody else in freeskiing, with 10 results across the three events, becoming the first man in World Cup history to make it to finals in big air, slopestyle, and halfpipe competitions all in one season.

General Interest

FILMING
One of the most original and talented in the video production of his own edits. "It’s definitely a lot of fun filming off-snow entertainment. I like to push my boundaries with stunts, and it’s also super funny to be creative with the thoughts in your head and then just go do them in real life! And, it feels good when people enjoy the things that I do." (fis-ski.com, 23 Oct 2020)

COVID-19
During the summer of Covid-19 in 2020, he did a lot of cliff diving, skating, and road trips in Norway, which gave him the opportunity to visit more of his home country. Made himself stronger, skied on the Norwegian glacier, and used his summer jib set-up in his backyard. (fis-ski.com, 23 Oct 2020)

FATHER'S ILLNESS
In July 2020, his father woke him late at night to inform him that he had cancer. "It was a very difficult period in my life. We talked and hugged, where we talked about everything we did together. We had a deep and good conversation that was sometimes difficult." (verietyinfo.com, 8 Jan 2021)

He missed the 2021 World Championships big air finals to be with his ailing father and the rest of his family in Norway. (fis-ski.com, March 2021)
