2019: Hip fracture, went back to competition in November 2020.
Feb 2018: Injured her knee (wound and patellar bone chip) a week before the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games and was unable to compete.
2017: Fractured wrist, went straight back to competition in February 2017 at the World Cup in Quebec City.

Started skiing at age three with her parents. “When I lived in Finland, I rarely went downhill, but I learned to ski with my father Antti, who is a former hill climber. However, I only got more excited about skiing after I moved to France." (edgeski.fi)
