Twice suffered severe injuries (meniscus injury and rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament). After one of the operations, a titanium screw was inserted into her knee. Due to injuries, she almost completely missed the 2016/17 World Cup season. (noc.by)

As a child, she initially went to gymnastics but at the age of seven, her parents sent her to freestyle skiing, trying it for the first time by age nine. By 2005, she was on the senior Belarusian national freestyle team and made her international debut at the Russian Open Championship in Chusovoy where she finished third. Milestones

Won the silver medal in aerials at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games, making her the third Belarusian woman with multiple medals at an Olympic Winter Games.

Won the aerials gold medal at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games by 0.62 points over Zhang Xin of China, giving Belarus their first gold medal of the 2018 Games, and securing the second consecutive Olympic gold for Belarus in the women’s aerials (defending champion Alla Tsuper finished fourth). At Sochi 2014, she was 21st.

Has four top-10 results from five World Championships with her top results in 2021 (fourth in the team event, fifth individually).

2012 Junior World Championships aerials silver medallist, 2.9 points behind China's Quan Huilin.

Has a career four World Cup podiums (end of 2020/21), with her first in 2015 (second in Lake Placid) and her first victory in 2017 (Secret Garden).

Winner of the European Cup in the overall standings of the 2008/09 season.
