General Interest

JAMES/RADFORD
Teamed up in 2021 coming out of retirement. Originally wanted to skate only in shows. "When I retired and even up to shortly before I started with Vanessa, I would have never ever imagined that I would come back. I truly felt my skating career is complete. It was just by luck and by chance that that opportunity came to skate with Vanessa. We skated together for a few days and at the end of like five days, we could do a triple twist and throw triples and we felt maybe we should show the world what we can do rather than just do shows. And that was when the idea of us actually doing competitions started.” (isuresults.com; Radford, isu.org, 3 Jan 2022)

DUHAMEL/RADFORD
Competed with Meagan Duhamel 2010-18, winning with her three Olympic medals (gold and silver in the team 2018 and 2014, bronze in the individual event 2018) as well as four world medals (gold in 2015 and 2016, bronze in 2013 and 2014).

MUSICIAN AND COMPOSER
Plays the piano and has composed music that he and other skaters skated to: "Tribute" (used by Duhamel/Radford in the 2013/14 season), "A Journey" (used by Patrick Chan (CAN) 2016/17 season), "Storm" (used by Kamila Valieva (ROC) 2020/21 season). (sportsnet.ca; isuresults.com)
