General Interest

FOURNIER BEAUDRY/SOERENSEN
Teamed up in 2013, representing his home country Denmark. They were the first Danish ice dancers to place in the top-10 at the European championships (2015-18).

FROM DENMARK TO CANADA
With Soerensen, she earned an Olympic Winter Games berth for Denmark to compete at PyeongChang 2018, when they finished 13th at the 2017 World Championships. But when she was unable to obtain a Danish passport, required to compete at the Olympic Winter Games, they made the decision that they would represent Canada going forward. In 2019, they became eligible to represent Canada internationally, and he obtained his Canadian citizenship in fall 2021. "We had so much attachment to Denmark, to the federation who helped us so much and tried to support us through all those years. We had not a hard time, but it was a hard decision for both of us." (Pirouette Magazine, Nov 2019; isuresults.com; IFS Magazine, 26 Nov 2018 / Oct 2021)

MUSIC EXPERT
