To compete at the Olympic Winter Games. "I've never been one of those kids who said like straight up that they were going to be an Olympian when they were six. But now it's definitely on my radar that I want to go to the Olympics." (cbc.ca, 16 Jan 2021)

She trains in Milton, ON. Takes ballet twice a week at a dance studio at the Milton Sports Centre. During the COVID-19 lockdown, she was taking ballet and creative dance classes over Zoom once a week. Her coaches ran off-ice classes via Zoom for two hours every day. General Interest

COVID-19
Had to train partially on an outdoor rink in Hamilton, ON at the end of 2020 when her rink closed during a lockdown. She was also able to get ice time at the York Region Skating Academy. It’s designated as an elite training centre...The outdoor ice had been quite cold. And training on that ice surface is not comparable to training in a proper centre. It was a stop-gap." (ifsmagazine.com, 7 May 2020; bevsmithwrites.com, 17 Jan 2021)

MUSIC APPRECIATION
As an accomplished pianist, she has a solid understanding of music and has a lot of input on the selections she will skate to. “My coach and I have very strong opinions so it usually takes a while before we come up with something we can both agree on." (ifsmagazine.com, 7 May 2020)

MUST LOVE DOGS
Since the age of four, she had been asking her parents for a dog. In October 2019, she got a cocker spaniel puppy named Sebastian. "One day they were saying no, and it seemed like the next we were going to pick up a dog. I worked harder for that dog than anything else in my entire life. I love dogs so much we had to stop doing off-ice outside in the summer. There would be dogs walking by and I would be just like ′Oh my God! A puppy.′” (ifsmagazine.com, 7 May 2020)

DOUBLE DUTY
Appeared as a double for skating scenes in the Netflix series "Spinning Out" in 2019. (insidehalton.com, 29 Apr 2019)
