OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES
Made his Olympic Winter Games debut at PyeongChang 2018.

Silver medallist at the Lillehammer 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games, 1.09 points behind champion Sota Yamamoto (JPN). Member of bronze medal-winning mixed "Discovery" team with Fruzsina Medgyesi (HUN), Gao Yumeng (CHN), Li Bowen (CHN), Marjorie Lajoie (CAN), and Zachary Lagha (CAN).

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
In five World Championships appearances (2016-21), his best result is sixth in 2018. Finishing 18th in 2021 secured one men's single skating berth for Latvia at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games.

At three World Junior Championships (2014-16), his top finish is seventh (2015), with a pair of eighth-place finishes (2014, 2016).

OTHER
First Latvian skater to win a medal at the European Championships (bronze in 2022).

Has three top-10 finishes at five European Championships (2016-20).
