General Interest

FROM UKRAINE TO AUSTRIA
She moved with her mother from Ukraine to Austria when she was 12 years old, as there were no suitable coaches for her in Kharkiv. Local coaches suggested for her to train with Elena Romanova in Austria. "At the beginning it was hard. I did not speak a single word of German. With each year I notice that my German is improving, but I still need to work on it." She received Austrian citizenship in 2020. (Pirouette Magazine, May 2021; Athlete)

Milestones

Ranked eighth in her debut at the 2021 World Championships, securing an Olympic quota place (for Austria) and the option for a second spot.
