Highlights

Athlete:

Bronze medallist at the 2017 Australian Men’s Championship.

Coach.:

Won a berth for Beijing 2022 after going undefeated at the 2021 Olympic Qualification Event.Finished fourth at the 2019 World Mixed Doubles Championship, losing the bronze medal game 5-4 to a US team featuring John Shuster.

ABOUT
Born in New York City to Thai parents, he was raised in Los Angeles, CA. Studied mathematics at Harvard University, before earning a PhD at the University of Cambridge in Linguistics, with a focus on Romance syntax. He got a job at Melbourne Business School in 2009 and became an Australian citizen in 2016.
