Biographical Information

Highlights

Athlete:

Olympic silver medallist at Sochi 2014, representing Great Britain.Won three consecutive World Championship medals for Scotland, with two silver (2011, 2012) and one bronze (2013).Bronze medallist at the 2013 European Championship, after finishing seventh the previous year.

Coach.:

Led Scotland (Dodds/Mouat) to World Mixed Doubles Championship gold in 2021, after finishing ninth with England in 2019.Junior bronze medals at the 2019 World Junior Championship (Scotland) and Winter Universiade (Great Britain), coaching the team skipped by Ross Whyte.

General Interest

TRAINING
British Curling high-performance athletes train on ice twice a day, five days per week with physical preparation training three to five times per week. Each session ranges from one to two hours in length. “The mixed doubles team will hold a dedicated training camp before Beijing aimed at refining technical and tactical skills." (Coach, 6 Jan 2022)

Drummond played third for Scottish/Great Britain legend David Murdoch, winning Olympic silver at Sochi 2014. Murdoch runs British Curling’s high-performance division.
