Highlights

Finished fifth at the Torino 2006 Olympic Winter Games, which included a 10-2 victory against the Italian team skipped by Joel Retornaz.Silver medallist at the 2003 World Championship with Switzerland, his first championship appearance for Switzerland, after competing at the 1996 tournament with Italy.Seven European Championship appearances for Italy (1994-98) and Switzerland (2002, 2005), finishing fourth twice, once with each nation (1995 - ITA, 2005 - SUI).

Six international medals in six appearances with Switzerland's Team Peter de Cruz, winning two World Championship bronze (2014, 2017), one European silver (2015) and two bronze (2016-17), and finishing with Olympic bronze at PyeongChang 2018.Finished seventh at the 2021 World Championship with Italy's Team Retornaz, before winning European bronze later in the year, with a 10-4 win over Norway's Team Walstad in the bronze medal game.Qualified for Beijing 2022 after defeating Czech Republic 6-5, in the Qualification Game at the 2021 Olympic Qualification Event. Italy finished the round-robin second overall, after going 7-1, their only defeat against Norway's Team Walstad (5-4).
