Milestones

Lillehammer 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games top-10 finish in the sprint (ninth).

Made his World Championships debut in 2021, with a top result of 19th in the team sprint finals.

Two top-20 finishes in the Junior World Championships of 12th in the relay (2019) and 16th in the sprint (2018). Competed at two U23 World Championships.

In December 2021 he had his international breakthrough and best World Cup result to date finishing 24th in the sprint final in Dresden. He was supposed to continue to the Tour de Ski with the Slovenian team, but unfortunately, he had to stay home due to illness. (siol.net, 26 Dec 2021)
