CHARITY WORK
The "Dario Cologna Fun Parcours" is a sports program aimed at introducing school children to cross-country skiing in a playful way. He regularly donates some of his personal objects for charity auctions including a signed bib from Tour de Ski (2018), and a pair of skis for the 75 year anniversary of UNICEF. Married long-time girlfriend Laura Bucher in August 2020. She is the daughter of Hockey Club Davos ice hockey goaltender Richie Bucher who represented Switzerland at the 1985 and 1987 World Championships and Calgary 1988 Olympic Winter Games. (dailyskier.com, 2 Aug 2020)

One of the best distance cross-country skiers of all-time. Four World Cup Overall victories, four Olympic gold medals, one World Championship gold medal, and four Tour de Ski victories. Two-time U23 world champion (2007-08).

OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES
Four-time Olympic champion winning a gold medal in every Olympic Winter Games in which he has competed, one in skiathlon (2014) and three in the 15km (2010 and 2018 free, 2014 classic).

First Swiss to win a cross-country skiing gold medal at the Olympic Winter Games, and first skier to win the 15km at three consecutive Olympic Games (2010, 2014, 2018).

His 15km freestyle win was Switzerland’s first gold medal of the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games. "It was not too bad - it was just amazing. It was really hard work and I really wanted to win again here, after Vancouver and Sochi. It takes a lot of effort just to win one gold medal. To write a little bit of history feels pretty good.”

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
In seven consecutive World Championships appearances (2009-21), he has won one gold (2013 skiathlon) and two silvers (2013 50km classic mass start, 2015 skiathlon).

Bronze medallist in the 10km classical at the 2006 Junior World Championships in Kranja.

WORLD CUP
Captured eight World Cup titles - four overall (2009, 2011, 2012, 2015) and four distance (2011, 2012, 2015, 2018). First Swiss cross-country skier to win the World Cup overall title (2009).

Individual podium finishes include 26 victories (15 World Cup, 11 Stage World Cup) and 73 podiums (40 World Cup, 33 Stage World Cup). *as of 1 Jan 2021.

First podium finish was in December 2008 (second in the 30km in La Clusaz). Won his first Stage World Cup title three weeks later in Oberhof (15km classic pursuit).

First World Cup title was in March 2011 (Lahti).
