General Interest

THIRD TIME'S THE CHARM
Missed the World Championships in Lahti in 2017 due to illness, and broke a pole in a crash in the sprint final Seefeld in 2019 (finishing fourth), before winning two gold medals in Oberstdorf in 2021.

FROM EARLY ON
Was the only Swedish female cross-country skier participating in the inaugural Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck in 2012, winning a silver medal in the sprint.

FROM SPRINT TO DISTANCE SKIER
Although has had most of her successes in the sprint, does not see herself as a sprint specialist and hopes to continue to develop in distance skiing. (Swedbank newsletter, Feb 2020)

NEW HOME
Bought a plot of land with partner Anton in Tarnaby, a small municipality in northern Sweden that is famous for its skiers such as Swedish legends Ingemar Stenmark and Anja Parsson, and aims to build a house there. (Swedbank newsletter, Feb 2020)
