Milestones

OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES
Won a silver medal in the relay at Sochi 2014, her only Games so far. Her best individual result was 13th in the 10km classic race.

WORLD SKI CHAMPIONSHIPS
Has competed in six World Championships beginning at Oslo 2011. Her best individual finish is eighth at Val di Fiemme 2013 (fifth in the relay). At Seefeld 2019, finished seventh in the team sprint with Krista Parmakoski.

Debuted at the 2007 Junior World Championships, with 14th in the sprint as her best result.

Competed in three U23 World Championships (2008-10) with three top-10 finishes, her best of fourth in the 10km in 2010, missing the podium by just over 5 seconds.

WORLD CUP
Took her first two podiums in Canmore, Alberta in December 2012, finishing second in both the 10km classic mass start and skiathlon.

In 270 World Cup starts, she has nine podium appearances (no individual victories), the most recent at the Tour de Ski in 2017. Her best Tour de Ski overall finish is seventh in 2017.

Has won two World Cup classic team sprint events, both in 2013, together with Mona-Lisa Malvalehto-Nousiainen in Sochi and with Aino-Kaisa Saarinen in Asiago.

During her best season in 2013, she finished seventh in the World Cup overall, fifth in the distance, and fifth in the sprint (seventh in the distance World Cup rankings in 2016).
