BEST SEASON OF HIS CAREER 2020
The season 2020 was the best of his career. He won the European Cup (for the first time in Formazza), had the best Tour de Ski to date, and had his best result in the World Cup. (imanolrojo.com, 7 Apr 2021)

Milestones

In two Olympic Winter Games appearances (2014, 2018), he has eight starts, with his best result of 17th in the team sprint at PyeongChang 2018 (with Marti Vigo Del Arco).

His World Championship debut was at Val di Fiemme 2013 and he has started at every championship since. His most successful was at Oberstdorf 2021, with two top-20 finishes (18th in 50km mass start classic, 19th in skiathlon).
