SKIING / UNIVERSITY BALANCE
As a student-athlete for the past four years, she was away from campus more than she's been in class. But to make international skiing work with her college schedule, she had to prepare well in advance, taking extra courses in the fall so she could have a better balance in the spring skiing season. For her, school and skiing are equally important, and she wants to excel in both. "It's been a challenge keeping up with schoolwork and learning material on your own, but I think it teaches you a lot about time management and figuring things out when you need to, which is a blessing in disguise." FOR GENDER EQUALITY
Involved in the Women Ski Coaches Association as she believes "qualified women coaches contribute significant and important skills to a group, and they should be treated and considered for jobs equally as men who coach. The gender gap is quite large in many sports, skiing included." (Athlete, Jun 2021)

NORDIC GOAL BEYOND COMPETITION
Working to inspire others to get outside and be active lifelong, which she considers to be the way Nordic skiing was originally intended. (Athlete, Jun 2021)

FAST AND FEMALE
Supports Fast and Female which promotes active sports participation by young women and girls: "Sport has taught me more about life than school ever could, and that is so valuable for young girls to experience as well (and boys for that matter)." (usskiandsnowboard.org)

Debuted at the 2021 World Championships in Oberstdorf finishing fourth in the relay, and her best individual result was 26th in the 30km mass start.

At the 2017Junior World Championships in Soldier Hollow, she skied the first leg for the bronze medal-winning USA relay team. In 2018 in Goms, she won silver and bronze medals in the individual races, the 5km classic and skiathlon, respectively - the most medals ever won at Junior Worlds by any cross-country skier from the USA.

Competed at three U23 World Championships (2019-21), with two seventh-place finishes as her best results, at Oberwiesenthal 2020 (10km classic) and Vuokatti 2021 (sprint classic).

Posted her first World Cup podium, finishing third, in the 10km freestyle in Davos (December 2020). No other top-10 results.
