OLYMPIC SIBLINGS
She and her brother (three years younger) were one of about 50 sibling pairs competing at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games. While their parents expected Petra's participation due to her previous start at Sochi 2014, Michal's nomination pleasantly surprised them. During a regular season, if time allows, her parents follow their races from a distance, while one watches their races on television, the other examines results and statistics on a computer and that they complement each other. MARTIN FOURCADE NORDIC FESTIVAL
In September 2021, she participated in the Martin Fourcade Nordic Festival on the streets of Annecy, France, which see biathletes and cross-country skiers race on rollerskates, attracting thousands of supporters. (Instagram, 7 Sep 2021)

Milestones

Two-time Olympian, making her debut at Sochi 2014 where she had her top all-time Olympic result of eighth in the 4x5km relay, and individually she has a best of 11th in the team sprint at PyeongChang 2018.

In four World Championships appearances (2013, 2017, 2019, 2021), she has five top-15 results (four in the relay, one in the team sprint).

Bronze medallist at the 2016 U23 World Championships in the 10km classic.

Competed at two Junior World Championships (2011, 2013), producing five top-20 finishes in six starts, with a best of ninth in 2013 in the 4x3.3km relay.
