Cross-country skiing has been a family activity since her childhood, so she learned to ski in Vecbebri, Latvia at age three. All her older brothers were cross-country skiers, so there was no other chance to do any other sport, and day by day, year by year she started to like the sport more. Milestones

OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES
Made her Olympic Winter Games debut PyeongChang 2018 where she recorded the best Latvian cross-country finish in Olympic history in the 10km free at 44th.

At the Lillehammer 2016 Olympic Winter Games, she competed in the sprint, the 5km free technique competition, and cross-country cross, with her best finish as 21st in the 5km individual.

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Debuted at Lahti 2017, where she finished 56th in the sprint. In 2019 in Seefeld, her best result was 36th in the sprint. At her third World Championships in 2021 in Oberstdorf, she competed in the sprint (43rd), skiathlon (38th), and the 10km free (43rd).

Competed at three consecutive Junior World Championships (2018-20), and recorded the best-ever Latvian result at this event with her fourth place in the 15km free mass start at Oberwiesenthal 2020.

At the U23 World Championships in 2021 in Vuokatti, she finished seventh in the 10km free and ninth in the classic sprint.

WORLD CUP
As personal bests and the best results for a Latvian athlete in the history of the World Cup, she has two top-10 finishes from the 2020/21 season (eighth in Davos in a 10km individual free, 10th place in the 10km Final Climb at the Tour de Ski). Completed the 2020/21 Tour de Ski in 24th position overall.
