MOONLIGHT CLASSIC
In 2020, he took part in the Moonlight Classic for the very first time. The 30km racecourse is illuminated only by the moonlight in Seiser Alm in South Tyrol. He won the race, 31 seconds ahead of silver medallist Lorenzo Busin. (xc-ski.de, 8 Feb 2020)

Milestones

Made his Olympic Winter Games debut at PyeongChang 2018 finishing seventh in the 4x5km relay.

In seven races at three World Championships appearances (2017-21), he has three top-10 finishes, one individually in his debut race in 2017 in Lahti (10th in skiathlon), and two in the relay in 2017 (eighth) and 2019 (10th).

Competed at the 2012 Junior World Championships (fourth in relay) and two U23 World Championships (2014-15) with two top-five individual finishes in 2015 (fourth in 15km free, fifth in skiathlon).

Since his World Cup debut in 2015, he has had 113 starts (end of 2020/21), breaking into the top-10 in 2018 in the 15km free pursuit (fourth) and twice in the relay (fifth in 2017, fourth in 2020).
