Has been involved with cross-country skiing from the age of seven when her first coach Oksana Yakovlevna Tabrizova saw her in a physical education class and invited her to the ski section. (skisport.ru, Mar 2021)
After the ninth grade, she was invited to a sports class in Tyumen, a decision her mother supported. After finishing the sports class, she started training at the sports training centre in Tyumen with Valentin Dmitrievich Litvintsev, who at that time was also a junior coach with the Russian national team.
