General Interest

SPORTS FAMILY
Her entire family is sporty. Her father is a former competitive cyclist, who trains youngsters and still competes himself in masters skiing competitions. Her brother trains and also races in cross-country skiing, as well as working with children in Moscow, and coaching young talents. (Athlete, Jun 2021)

Milestones

After several years of inconsistent ups and downs, in 2019 she joined the Russian Winter Team led by Andrey Tyuterev and began competing in ski marathons.

Made her breakthrough during season 2020/21 in long-distance skiing where she had international success and several top-10 finishes in races between 40 and 70km. (24smi.org)

At the Russian national championships 2021 in Tyumen, she won silver, bronze and was fourth which ensured her inclusion on the Russian national team for the season 2021/22 onward.

Made her World Cup debut at Ruka in November 2021 where she also scored her first points. Recorded her first top-20 at Lillehammer where she finished 19th in the 10km free.
