2021: Broke her arm when she crashed during a World Cup race in Falun. Recovered in time for the 2021 World Championships at Oberstdorf.

Parents introduced her to skiing when she was three and they would go on family weekend outings. (Athlete, Jun 2021)

Started training at age seven, taking the train after school to the Kupriyanova training base where her mother worked. Until age 15, her mother was her coach. She especially loved the feeling of winning. From the 2010/11 season, she started training with Alexander Vasilyevich Smirnov, who had coached her father and mother earlier. (smi.org, 2021)

OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES
Silver medallist in the skiathlon at Beijing 2022.

Member of the bronze medal-winning 4x5km relay team in her Olympic Winter Games debut at PyeongChang 2018. Finished fourth in the sprint classic where she received a yellow card in the final (YC).

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Three-time World Championships medallist winning two bronze medals in her debut in 2019 (skiathlon, 4x5km relay) and one silver in 2021 (4x5km relay).

At three Junior World Championships, she has won a total of six medals (three individual, three in the relay). Individually, she won gold in the 5km in 2013 (Val di Fiemme) and two bronze medals in 2015 in sprint and 5km (Almaty). Her three silver medals are in the relay (2013-15).

Double medallist at the 2018 U23 World Championships (skiathlon silver, sprint bronze).

WORLD CUP
First female Russian skier to podium at the Tour de Ski (2019, 2020) both of which she finished second overall.

Has three individual World Cup victories and podium results from all distances from sprint to 30km.
