In May 2021 he was nominated to the "Perevozchikov Group", coached by Oleg Perevozchikov and Danil Akimov (nine athletes in total). (xc-ski.de, 25 May 2021)

Milestones

Started for the first time at the World Championships in Oberstdorf 2021, finishing 15th in the 50km mass start classic, his only race.

Had two starts at the 2016 U23 World Championships (14th in 15km classic, 24th in the sprint).

All of his four World Cup podiums have come in the relay (two seconds, two thirds) with no victories yet. Individually his best results are a trio of fourths in 2019 (50km classic in Oslo), and in the 15km mass start classic in 2020 (Lahti) and 2021 (Val di Fiemme).

In January 2021 he finished fourth at the Tour de Ski in Val die Fiemme, finishing 11th overall in the 2021 Tour de Ski.
