Milestones

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Made his World Championships debut in 2018, and won his first medal in 2021 (silver in the relay).

Five-time Junior World Championships medallist winning two relay golds (2012, 2013) and three individual silvers (2012 skiathlon, 2013 10km free and skiathlon).

Competed at three U23 World Championships (2014-16), ninth in the 2015 sprint is his top result.

WORLD CUP
Opened up the 2021/22 World Cup season with a podium finish (third) in the 15km free in November (Ruka). First individual podium was in 2020 in the 15km free (third in Davos).

At the 2021 Tour de Ski in Val Mustair, he finished second in the 15km free pursuit. 2021 Russian national 15km champion. Won 2018 national gold (50km mass start) and bronze medallist (skiathlon).

OTHER
In March 2021 he won the 15km skate of the Russian championships in Tyumen. Russian star athlete Alexander Bolshunov did not take part in this competition. (nordicmag.fr, 30 Mar 2021)
