Milestones

Two-time Olympic champion at Pyeongchang 2018, winning both skiathlon and relay, and earning silver in the 15 km.

Debuted at the World Championships at Seefeld 2019 where took 5th place in 50 km. At Oberstdorf 2021, took three individual medals with two silver medals in skiathlon and 15 km free technique race, and bronze in the 50 km mass start classic.

Scored his first World Cup points in Lillehammer in December 2014 and his first podium on the Tour de Ski in Toblach in 2017. Has now seven individual World Cup victories, a total of 17 individual podiums and three wins with the relay.

Finished 3rd in the distance World Cup season rankings in 2021.

Relay silver medallist in the Junior World Championships at Liberec 2013. Individually, finished 4th both in skiathlon and 10 km free technique, and 10th in the sprint that year. U23 world champion in 15 km free at Rasnov 2016 and silver medallist at Almaty 2015.
