THE NEW MARIT BJOERGEN
Has been called the "New Marit Bjoergen", the legendary cross-country champion, since she was 17, initially by Petter Skinstad, a commentator with the Norwegian TV channel TV 2. This is because she won all her races in the U17 category and also took three of the three golds in the Norwegian junior nationals where she was competing against competitors who were one year older than her. GROWTH HORMONE TREATMENT
The Norwegian Ski Association confirmed in 2019 that she had growth hormone treatment in early adolescence from December 2014 until September 2017 with a medication that is on the WADA banned list. At age 13 she was only 137.5cm tall. (tv2.no, Jan 2019)

Milestones

Debuted at the 2021 World Championships, where she anchored the Norwegian relay team to gold. Individually, she had two top-10 finishes (sixth in skiathlon, eighth in 10km free).

Three-time junior world champion winning two gold in the individual events in 2020 (5km, 15km) and one in the relay in 2019. Won two silver medals at Lahti 2019 (5km, 15km).

Collected World Cup points at her first start in Lillehammer in December 2019 when she finished 19th in the skiathlon. Went on to post the second-fastest time in the pursuit race on the last leg of the Ruka Triple stage World Cup in November 2021, where she finished sixth and recorded another podium (second) in Lahti in January 2021. She finished 15th overall and ninth in the distance World Cup in the 2020/2021 season.
