Has an athletic family. In the beginning, she just liked to spend time outside with her friends and family being active. They did different kinds of sports, not only skiing. At a young age, she joined the cross-country group in the Heimatverein, SV Bremelau. Year by year it became more professional and she liked to challenge herself and to improve her skills.
